Expert survey launched on AI in Experience/Exhibition Design

Expert survey launched on AI in Experience/Exhibition Design
We are pleased to invite contributions to a new survey on ethical approaches to artificial intelligence in the cultural heritage sector.

AI is increasingly used across heritage contexts, from documentation and collections management to interpretation, research, and public engagement. Alongside these opportunities come important ethical questions relating to transparency, bias, authorship, data governance, and responsible use. To better understand current practices and needs, we are gathering insights from professionals working across cultural heritage, technology, research, and policy.

The survey is addressed to experts and practitioners with experience or interest in AI and cultural heritage. Its goals are to:
  • map how AI is currently used in the sector
  • identify key ethical challenges and open questions
  • collect perspectives on good practices and priorities
  • inform future guidelines, research directions, and collaboration

The questionnaire is comprehensive and designed to capture in-depth expert input. While it requires a meaningful time investment, the results will contribute to shaping responsible and informed approaches to AI in cultural heritage.

The survey was soft-launched during our recent webinar activities and is now open to the wider expert community.
