UNICHE at Immersive Heritage 2026
Taking place in Timisoara, Romania, from the 18th to the 20th of March, the conference Immersive Heritage 2026 is positioned as a meeting point for experts working at the intersection of digital cultural heritage and immersive technologies, with a programme spanning keynote sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, policy dialogue, and scientific exchange.
UNICHE will be represented at the event by partner IN2. On Day 1 we will participate in the panel discussion “Digital Museums: Bridging Physical and Digital Heritage”, bringing the viewpoint of the pilots from the UNICHE project. Day 2 of the event is focused on “Serious games, Engagement & Cultural Storytelling” and we are keen to be part of the Panel “Designing Interactive Heritage Experiences”.
The event is organised by the Lip3D project which contributing to the deployment of the common European data space for cultural heritage. Thus, through this participation the UNICHE project is able to link to a key complementary initiative to that of the Cultural Heritage Cloud.
We look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and ideas that will emerge from the event in Timișoara. You can still register to attend in-person or follow the presentations online.
